Kwara FA reiterates commitment to grassroots devt

 

The Kwara Football Association has reiterated its commitment to take sports to grassroots, as one of the cardinal points of the Nigeria Football Federation and football governing body, FIFA.

The State FA Chairman, Busari Ishola affirmed this while speaking during the official unveiling of all Primary Schools soccer competition held on Tuesday at Ilorin West LGEA Secretariat, Ilorin.

Busari said it was mandatory to go to grassroots and discover more talents, adding that the association is determined to develop sports, especially at the primary school level.

He however tasked the game masters and mistresses to be discipline during and after the tournament.

Also speaking, Alhaji Saka Animasaun, the LGEA secretary thanked the state FA for the support given to the grassroots.

Animasaun, who thanked the Head Masters and Mistresses for the corporation also advised the sports coordinators to for the rules and regulations of the competition.

Eleven zones are competing in the soccer tournament that will kick off on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017.

Amongst the zones are Pakata, Adeta, Baboko, Oloje, Odota and Mandate zone.
