Experience not cash foundation of business- CEO Chibenco Silver Steel Industry
Mr. Ebele Sylvester Udemba is the Chief Executive Officer of Chibenco Silver Steel Industry, which has become household name in Kwara State and beyond.
The Imo State born businessman started his enterprise after gaining freedom from his master after serving for about a decade in 2009.
He disclosed that his initial capital was N130,000.
He described the secret of his success in life to experience garnered as an apprentice.
During his apprenticeship he learnt the construction of different types of equipment such as iron chairs, building materials, pipe moulding, wheel barrow, tables and utensils.
He added that honesty and timeliness, which have given his business credibility.
The entrepreneur said: ” I have already understood the rudiments of the business therefore I see experience as the foundation of any business not cash.
The CEO then called on the youths to shun white collar job and embrace vocational works that will fetch them money daily.
He called on government to assist enterprises with loans in order to expand the frontiers of the economy to attract more customers.
