Sevilla wants €30m for N’Zonzi
The midfielder is keen to join the Giallorossi, where he’d link up with sporting director Monchi, the man who took him to Seville.
According to il Romanista, the Lupi initially offered €23m, but are willing to go to €25m plus bonuses.
Sevilla are asking for €30m, but given that N’Zonzi wants to move to Rome it’s thought a deal can be found.
Higuain set to hold Juvy talks
Gonzalo Higuain and his agent will be in Italy today, amid discussion over the Juventus striker’s future.
The Argentine international has been linked with both Milan and Chelsea, and it appears the Bianconeri are willing to sell him.
Higuain is expected back at training tomorrow, and both he and his agent, brother Nicolas, will be in Italy today.
Reports claim that there will be talks over Pipita’s future, but he doesn’t want to leave Turin and will only do so if he gets a higher salary elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Juventus will not let Gonzalo Higuain join AC Milan on loan, according to Corriere dello Sport, after reports of a big-money temporary switch.
Higuain has been strongly linked to the San Siro, with a €15m loan fee mooted, but the report says the Rossoneri must pay cash in a permanent deal now.
It will not just be a sizeable price tag — the Old Lady want €30m and former centre-back Leonardo Bonucci to sell the Argentina striker.
Lewandowski dreaming of a Real Madrid move
Robert Lewandowski continues to dream of a move to Real Madrid and is pushing to leave Bayern Munich where he believes he has come to the end of the road.
Sources close to the Pole have said that the player, who will be 30 this summer, continues to hope of a move to the Bernabeu.
The Madrid hierarchy are aware of his wish to move since his agent Pina Zahavi travelled to the Spanish capital to speak in person with them but the problem is that Bayern don’t want to sell and he has a contract until 2021.
Madrid would be willing to pay a reasonable price but don’t want to get into a war with a club in which they have a good relationship.
Pizarro signs extension with Bremen
Claudio Pizarro is set for his 21st season of Bundesliga football after agreeing a one-year deal with Werder Bremen.
The Peruvian, who turns 40 in October, spent last season with Cologne, scoring once in 16 games as the Billy Goats were relegated. The strike, which came in the 3-2 reverse against VfB Stuttgart on Matchday 25, meant Pizarro has score in each of the last 20 Bundesliga campaigns.
A six-time Bundesliga champion over two spells at Bayern Munich, Pizarro joins Bremen for the fifth time, having also put pen to paper with Die Grün-Weißen in 1999, 2008 (on loan from Chelsea), 2009 and 2015.
Pizarro has been in Mallorca this summer working on his fitness and could get his first taste of action against Dutch outfit Groningen next Sunday.
Milan prepares Conte deal
Milan are reportedly prepared to offer Antonio Conte a three-year contract, but everything depends on his situation with Chelsea.
The Rossoneri have publicly denied that they’re thinking of replacing current Coach Gennaro Gattuso, but rumours about Conte won’t go away.
Now Tuttosport is reporting that there is a three-year contract on the table for the former Italy CT, which is worth around €6m per season.
However, a deal can only be concluded if Conte comes to a quick agreement with former club Chelsea.
The Blues sacked the former Juve boss for just cause, and he is thought to be pursuing legal action for the €10m he’d be due for the final year of his contract.
Chelsea plots £30m bid for Ramsey
The transfer window is open, and Transfer Talk has the latest rumours making the rounds. Follow along with our daily blog throughout the summer.
Chelsea is ready to make a £30 million bid for Aaron Ramsey, the Mail reports, with the Welsh midfielder’s Arsenal contract into its last 12 months.
The Blues will test the Gunners’ resolve after enduring a distraction last season when Alexis Sanchez — who joined Manchester United in January — and Mesut Ozil started the campaign in the final year of their deals.
Ramsey, 27, scored 11 times in all competitions last season and Unai Emery will be desperate to keep hold of him.
But the case of Sanchez proved that Arsenal are not adverse to selling to their rivals when backed into a corner, and Ramsey has not given encouraging signs that he will extend his 10-year stay.
Man Utd keen on Mina move
Manchester United are planning a move for Yerry Mina, the Sun reports, suggesting that a deal for Leicester’s Harry Maguire is not likely before the end of the window.
Jose Mourinho says he might only add one more player this summer, despite wanting two from a list of five targets he gave Manchester United.
The report claims United will bid £35m for the Barcelona defender, who only moved to the Camp Nou from Palmeiras in January.
Barca can cash in on the 23-year-old just six months after paying £10.5m following his fine World Cup in Russia.
