For Wale Ajayi , his sojourn into the world of business was almost marred with uncertainty as a result of lack of capital.
According to him, the desire to excel in life and the problem of insecurity in white collar job sphere, prompted him to go into business.
“At the beginning, I had no money and did not get any form of assistance from anybody.
“But, I took cue from a friend who had made headway in business by starting small, ” he explained.
Ajayi, a masters degree holder in Business Administration said he jettisoned lecturing job for business because he wanted to be an employer of Labour.
“I couldn’t raise money to buy the equipments needed to start up my salon enterprise, but after dogged persistence, an helper came to my aid.
“I remember he lend me N250, part of which I used to buy some of my needed equipments.
” Looking back today, I thank God, because I have achieved much through the business.
“Presently, I have 10 branches across Kwara, and it has given birth to other business enterprises. Today, I have many people on my payroll”, he added.
Wale, however, charged youth to always take their destiny in their hands by embracing entrepreneur.
” I believe in my handiwork and know it can last unlike the white collar job. That is the reason I embrace entrepreneurship instead of waiting endlessly for limited government jobs,” he submitted.
