2019: I’m running on conviction for change – Hakeem Lawal

A frontline gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressive Congress in Kwara State, Alhaji Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has said the APC would win the 2019 general elections in the state.
He said this shortly after he picked the party’s nomination and expression of interest form at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
Lawal who was accompanied by party faithful stressed that, ‘this vista of opportunity offered by the APC incidentally and coincidentally has manifested in the people the characteristics of reserving the right and independence to change their government.
According to him, Kwara state now has more than ever before a unique opportunity to define its destiny urging the people therefore to generously troupe out to participate in the party’s on-going registration exercise.
He noted that he is in the race for the office of the governor following his conviction that he can turn his conceptual vision for the state into an articulate coherent policy.
According to him, the situation does no longer call for mourning or lamentation rather ‘I am convinced that 2019 promises to be a momentous one as there is nothing that God cannot do to.
“As we continue to enjoy the abundant overflowing of blessings of God, you and I also have contributions to make as God’s blessings come with a lot of sacrifice….the challenge is for the people to make a wise decision so that the state can have the right leadership.
